Akadiri Yessoufou and Gianpaolo Rando
Akadiri obtained his Ph.D. in September 2006 at Université
de Bourgogne (Dijon, France) in the field of Immunology and
Cell Physiology. Presently, he is Maîtres-assistant at the
University of Abomey-Calavi in Cotonou, Benin. He joined the
CIG (Prof. Walter Wahli’s group) on October 1st, 2009 for a
Post-doctoral reserach. He is studying “The regulation of
pancreatic beta-cell function by PPARs”.
Gianpaolo obtained his PhD in December 2008, in the group of Prof. Adriana Maggi at the University of Milan (Italy) on “Taxonomy of SERM activity in vivo”. He joined the CIG (Prof. Wahli’s group) on October 1st, 2009. He is working on gender-dimorphism in nuclear receptor signalling.
