Congratulations to Alexandre Reymond on his election as president of the Forum for Genetic Research

Alexandre Reymond is Professor of Human Genetics and Genomics and has been Director of the Center for Integrative Genomics (CIG) at the University of Lausanne since 2015. His research group investigates how the structural organization of the human genome affects, for example, diseases of the nervous system. Alexandre Reymond is also President of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG).

After studying at the University of Lausanne, Alexandre Reymond continued his education at Harvard Medical School in Boston, at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine in Milan and at the University of Geneva, among others. He returned to Lausanne in 2004 when the CIG was founded.
