SystemsX.ch Third Call for Proposals
SystemsX.ch, the Swiss Initiative in Systems Biology, is issuing its Third Call for Proposals.
The focus of the third Call is on
1. Interdisciplinary PhD student projects(IPhDs): IPhD students are supervised by two mentors from different and complementarydisciplines. SystemsX.ch will fund about a dozen IPhD Projects over 3 years.
2. Interdisciplinary Pilot Projects (IPPs): innovative projects with a high risk to scientifically fail and / or seed projects. Up to ten Interdisciplinary Pilot Projects (IPP) will be funded.
3. Interactions between Academia and Industry: Bridge 2 Industry (BIP) and Industrial Sabbaticals in Academia (ISA) projects (see also X-Flash of Sept 21, 2009). Read the rest of this entry »
Cotutelles de thèse entre universités suisses et françaises ou italiennes
Le Secrétariat d’Etat à l’éducation et à la recherche (SER) soutient financièrement environ 20 projets individuels de cotutelle de thèse pour autant qu’ils fassent l’objet d’une convention de coopération entre deux universités suisse et française. Le subside, de CHF 10’000 au maximum, sera versé à l’université suisse et doit être utilisé surtout pour faciliter la mobilité des directeurs de thèse et du doctorant. Read the rest of this entry »
