The new PhD Program in Genomic and Experimental Medicine hosted at TIGEM was launched, as part of the newly established SSM School for Advanced Studies.

It offers a 4-year graduate program focused on the study of Genetic Diseases and Cancer through the use of emerging approaches of biomedical research, such as molecular genetics, genomics, advanced cell biology and gene therapy.
Students will receive a full scholarship for the duration of the PhD.  The selection of the students will be exclusively on the basis of merit, the course is characterised  by a strong intertwining of teaching and research, community life and a great openness towards international exchanges.
