Postdoc position in Plant Molecular Genetics, Cambridge UK; DL: Jan 18, 2013

Post-Doctoral Research Associate: Plant Molecular
Genetics
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research associate in Plant Molecular Genetics to
work with Dr Uta Paszkowski in the Department of Plant Sciences in the field of beneficial
symbioses in cereals. The project will continue ongoing efforts to understand rhizosphere
communication between plants and symbiotic fungi (see Plant Journal 2006, 47, 165 for an
example of our work). The project will involve plant molecular genetics in order to study presymbiotic recognition and plant reprogramming using rice mutants available in the laboratory.
Applicants should have a PhD in plant molecular biology or genetics; some knowledge of
plant metabolomics would be advantageous.
To apply, please email a CV, publications list, a CHRIS/6 (parts I and III only) and the names
and contact details (including email addresses) of 3 referees to Dr Paszkowski at
up220(at)cam.ac.uk. More informations and forms can be found at:

The closing date for applications is Friday 18 January 2013.
