Prof. Walter Wahli accepted an offer from the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore as a Visiting Professor, starting October 1st.  The Lee Kong Chian Medical School is considered the “MIT of Singapore”, and is linked with the Imperial College of London and the Nanyang Technological University, a still young but fast climbing Singapore University.  There he will contribute to the development of one of the three main topics of the school, metabolism and metabolic diseases.  Prof. Wahli will nevertheless not abandon the CIG, where he will continue to contribute to its scientific life and supervise the remaining people of his group.
