Host: Dr Keith Harshman

All the interested people are cordially invited.

Wed Jan 29, 2014 Sem. BioNano Genomics Irys instrument

I would like to announce the following seminar:

Rapid Genome Wide Mapping at the Single Molecule Level Using Nanochannel Arrays for Structural Variation Analysis and de novo Assembly
Dr. Fahim Amini
BioNanoGenomics, San Diego, USA
Wednesday January 29
14h30-15h30
Genopode Building Rm 2020

The seminar will focus on the technology and applications of the BioNano Genomics Irys instrument (http://www.bionanogenomics.com/).

The Irys instrument uses single molecule DNA imaging technology and is particularly useful in the analysis of large scale genomic structural variation as well as in finishing genome sequencing assemblies.
