Welcome (back) to Romane!

Hi everybody,

I am Romane Meurs. I did my master internship in David Gatfield’s lab at the end of the spring semester and now I am glad to be back to CIG as a PhD student !

I’m from Belgium, where I did my bachelor and masters’ degrees. I graduated recently in biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

During my PhD, I will first continue my internship project which is about translational regulatory function of the non-conventional translation factor eIF2D and its link with the circadian rhythm.
