Anna Shmelkova graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia. Currently she is doing her PhD in Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Russia, under supervision of Professor Philipp Khaitovich. Anna has joined Professor Henrik Kaessmann’s group on April 1st 2015 for a two-month collaboration. She is part of a project that seeks to compare proteoms and metaboloms across tissues various mammals during their development and ontogenesis.
