Mariaserena Boraso has joined Prof. Béatrice Desvergne’s group on March 24th 2015 for a six months collaboration. She will investigate the impact of high fat diet on inflammatory response in the central nervous system focusing on the epigenetic mechanisms involved. Mariaserena obtained her PhD at the University of Milan studying the interaction between the pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin-1beta and the glutamatergic system.
