My name is Marina Ota and I just started to work in the Prof. Jolanda van Leeuwen’s lab as a lab technician.

I did my bachelor and master in biology in University of Geneva. I did my master’s thesis in Jean-Claude Martinou’s lab. I worked on finding the mitochondrial alanine carrier using a yeast screen and I also work with cell culture to observe the potential role of the malate-aspartate shuttle in cancer cell’s metabolism.
