Exposure, Dec. 2-4 & 7, 2016

EXPOSURE: a 3-day science filmmaking event

This innovative event will get participants to collaborate and share skills combining science, art and communication.

Exposure brings together scientists and artists from around Switzerland to make short films on scientific subjects. In small groups, scientists and artists will collaborate and use their expertise to clearly explain scientific subjects through film. These short films should successfully communicate science to the public in artistic and innovative ways.

The event will take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December at the University of Lausanne. Participation is free and all meals will be provided over the 3 days. The event is limited to 30 participants (with a fairly even split between scientists and artists). The films will be judged on the Sunday evening, December 4th, at a cinema in Lausanne and there will be a public showing of the films on the 7th of December at Cinema Pully.

Please find the application form on our website, applications close on October 31st.
