Genopode’s Día de muertos, Nov. 3, 2021 from 5:30 P.M. in the hall

What?
Día de muertos is a Mexican tradition with roots in pre-hispanic cultures. Once a year, the souls of our relatives/loved ones visit our homes during the night. Thus, we prepare an altar (offering) with flowers, candles, meals, drinks and personal objects that our relatives used to love in live. We also put a picture of them in their respective altar, so that they don’t fight between each other for the offerings.

When?
It varies per region, but at the Genopode, it will take place on the 3rd of November!

How?
Adding some decorations in the kitchen, possibly preparing mini-altars for… dead scientists?
The competition will be followed by an apéro in which we consume the food and drinks brought for the altars.
Simply register here to attend the competition or simply have fun making your own altar: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_P3O8HNtARJ68oEvBEWXarAMsm5a0qro9Ge4pof7RGU/edit?usp=sharing
