We are pleased to invite you to the Lausanne Genomics Days 2026, a two‑day international conference dedicated to sharing recent advances in (gen)Omics and discussing their impact on biological research across a wide range of disciplines.
The conference brings together researchers from five departments at the University of Lausanne (UNIL): CIG, DBC, DBMV, DEE, and DMF.
Dates: Monday–Tuesday, February 2–3, 2026
Location: Genopode, University of Lausanne (UNIL)
Scientific Program
The conference will be structured around five thematic sessions:
- AI in Biology & Medicine Chair: Prof. Sven Bergmann (DBC)
- Genes, traits and sexual systems Chair: Prof. Ian Sanders (DEE)
- Microbial Ecology Across Scales Chair: Prof. Alan Pacheco (DMF)
- Genome Organization Chair: Prof. Maria Cristina Gambetta (CIG)
- Gene Regulatory Mechanisms in Evolution and Development Chair: Prof. Sebastian Soyk (DBMV)

Registration
Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory for organizational purposes, particularly to avoid food waste.
Coffee breaks, lunches, and an apéritif will be provided.
