Life at the Génopode – reopening of the swifts’ nestboxes 🐥🐦

Somer parallels at the Genopode:

while the CIG progressively reopens for research, Stéphane Porchet helped by Alex Reymond reopened the 14 nestboxes for the swifts.

The nestboxes are routinely closed in early spring to avoid their squatting by the house sparrow as we wait for the return of the swifts from Africa in early May.

All the best to all of you in this restarting phase.
