The 6th edition of the Life Science Career Day (LSCD) will take place on May 17th 2017 in Lausanne. LSCD is the annual event for young researchers and students wishing to get ready for their professional future! This 6th edition will provide you with inspiration and information on career opportunities in the field of life sciences, as well as contacts and networking opportunities.

When: The event will take place at the University Hospital Center, in Lausanne, on Wednesday May 17th 2017, 10:15-18:30.

What: You’ll hear about professional pathways for scientists and careers in the private sector, non-profit organizations, or public administration. You’ll discover how your academic experience can lead you to a successful non-academic career, and get inspiration from professionals and alumni from the field.

Moreover, you’ll be able to

• attend a workshop on how to best prepare for job interviews;

• have your CV checked by professionals;

• try a mock interview;

• have your photo taken by a professional photographer.
