Adem Bilican is a new PhD student in the group of Henrik Kaessmann. He started his PhD in January 1st 2011.
Adem is from France where he studied Bio-informatics at Bordeaux University. He then worked at BiGCaT Bioinformatics in Maastricht as a scientific developer last year.
His PhD project is about alternative splicing in mammals and long non-coding RNAs.
