Ali Rashidi-Nezhad is a Ph.D. student of Medical Genetics at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). He is here for 6 months for an advanced training course focusing mainly on analysis of DNA copy number variations (CNVs) in patients affected by non-mendelian multiple congenital anomalies (MCA) and normal karyotype using high-throughput techniques(eg. array CGH and massively parallel sequencing). He is a holder of MSc. in Human Genetics from TUMS.
