Open Postdoctoral positions at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York (October 2014)

The Zangi lab is recruiting.

The Zangi lab is the newest addition to the Cardiovascular Research Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai located in Manhattan, New York.
Our lab focuses on cardiac regeneration and on the role of adult cardiac stem cells in the healthy and injured heart.
Our main goal is to unravel paracrine signals that can enhance cardiac regeneration after injury. Therefore, we are using modified mRNA as a novel gene delivery tool to locally up-regulate or down-regulate paracrine factors after myocardial infarction in small and large animal models.
We are now recruiting Post-docs to our group.
Interested applicants should send a CV, a brief description of research interests, and contact information for up to three references to: lior.zangi@mssm.edu
Informal inquiries are welcome.
We offer competitive packages.
