Post-doctoral position in Mammalian Epigenetics, Montpellier, South of France
Institute of Molecular Genetics (IGMM), CNRS & University of Montpellier.
This research project in the mouse concerns the role of non-coding RNA in the epigenetic regulation of mammalian genomic imprinting. It explores the dynamic nuclear regulation of a long non-coding RNA at an imprinted domain important in development, and includes functional and microscopic studies into the involvement of chromatin regulatory complexes. For this mammalian epigenetics project, applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field of Biology and preferably have prior research experience in non-coding RNA and chromatin studies and/or confocal microscopy. This 2-year post-doctoral position is funded by the laboratory of excellence (LABEX) EPIGENMED in Montpellier (see www.epigenmed.fr). The monthly gross salary will be 2550 Euros. Starting date: from 1st January 2013.
Applicants should send their CV, a letter of motivation and the names of two references to Dr Robert Feil (‘Genomic Imprinting & Development’ team), before the 1st December 2012.
