10th year anniversary of the CIG – public lecture of Nobel Prize Carol W. Greider
Carol W. Greider, co-recipient, together with Elizabeth H. Blackburn and Jack W. Szostak, of the 2009 Nobel prize in Physiology and Medicine “for the discovery of how chromosomes are protected by telomeres and the enzyme telomerase”, give a public lecture. The public lecture is titled “Telomeres and human disease: curiosity-driven research brings new clinical insight”, and should be understandable for non-specialists. This event will take place Thursday, June 11th, 2015, at 6PM, Génopode C Auditorium. Come one, come all !
