The Center for Integrative Genomics of the University of Lausanne will support applicants for the next SNSF professorship call in 2013 (http://www.snf.ch/E/funding/individuals/professorships/Pages/default.aspx) (call expected beginning of February 2013). The applicants should comply to the conditions set by the SNSF (in particular: Swiss university degree or at least two years of activity at a Swiss university at the time of the submission deadline).
The successful candidate is expected to develop an innovative research project in a research field related to the activities of the CIG (computational biology, genetics, genomics).
Applicants should send a C.V. and a summary of scientific achievements and proposed research by Feb 18, 2013, and also arrange to have three recommendation letters sent by E-mail to the Director of the Institute, Nouria Hernandez (nouria.hernandez(at)unil.ch).
The CIG will select potential candidates for a first round of interviews which will take place in March 2013. The decision on the selected candidate will be given end of March 2013, so that the candidate can submit her/his application to the SNSF beginning of May 2013.
