Dear colleagues,

it's with a great pleasure that we announce you the pizza
meetings will start again this semester after a short break.

As a reminder, the pizza meeting are PI-free and pizza-rich
30 minutes presentations given by students and postdoc from
the CIG or the SIB every second wednesday at 12:00.
Attending to or presenting during these meetings is a great
opportunity to:
- present your current work to other students of the CIG,
- discover what other people are working on,
- eat pizzas,
- collect some interesting ideas or hints related to your
work,
- improve your presenting skills,
- have free pizza,
- practice a talk in perspective of a conference or
(mid-)thesis exam,
- meet new people from different labs/floors,
- did I mention pizza?

The first pizza meeting is scheduled for February, 9th and
will be given by Julien Meunier (Kaessmann's lab - title to
be announced). It will be followed by a short CAOS meeting
in order to discuss about the future of the association.

The speakers are chosen on a volunteering basis. If you want
to speak during one of the scheduled session (see dates
below) please let us know by replying to this mail : caos@unil.ch (one
person per meeting - first-come, first-served).
