Welcome to Claudine!

Claudine Neyen received her DPhil from Oxford University, studying macrophage biology and lipoprotein metabolism under the supervision of Siamon Gordon. After a brief stint into macrophage-tumour cell cross-talk, she joined Bruno Lemaitre’s lab at the Global Health Institute, EPFL, to get to grips with fruit flies. Her postdoc work aimed at understanding how innate immune responses are switched on and off at the right time and place to prevent chronic inflammation. Claudine will be joining Fisun Hamaratoglu’s lab as a postdoc for one year, and is looking forward to continue her involvement with the EPFL postdoc association on the UNIL side.
