Dassine Berdous is a Master 2 graduate from the University of Paris Diderot where she studied signaling, metabolism and signaling. She did her internship M2 in Dr. Buteau’s laboratory at the Alberta Diabetes Institute, where she worked on the characterization of transcriptional targets by a factor of lipotoxicity in the beta cell. She wishes to pursue a career in research, so we are pleased to announce that beginning of November she will be a part of Dr. Thorens’ team as a PhD student.
