Welcome to Dimos!

Dimoklis Gkountaroulis (known also as Dimos Goundaroulis) obtained his PhD in Mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens in January 2014. His thesis is entitled “Framization of the Temperley-Lieb algebra and related link invariants”. He was a post-doc of the “Algebraic modelling of topological and computational structures” group at the Department of Mathematics at the NTUA until August 2016. His latest results regard a new 2-variable invariant for classical knots and links that is stronger than the Jones polynomial on links. Since October 1st 2016 he is a post-doc researcher in the group of Andrzej Stasiak.
