Divyansh Mittal obtained his Bachelors in Biomedical Science form Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi in 2015. He then joined the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore for Integrated Ph.D. program (Master and Ph.D. combined) in Biological Science. He completed is Masters in Biological Science in 2017.
For this Ph.D., he has worked under the guidance of Prof. Rishikesh Narayanan at Molecular Biophysics Unit, IISc, and elucidated the different neuronal- and network-scale mechanisms which impart functional robustness to distinct neural systems in the presence of heterogeneity and stochasticity. Divyansh is keenly interested in various sports (especially cricket) and enjoys travelling.
