François Mange joined the group of Nouria Hernandez as a PhD Student in February 2013.

He studied biology here in Lausanne. He did his master thesis in metabolism in the laboratory of Kaori Minehira, where he studied the interaction of Lipid Storage Droplet Protein 5 (LSDP5) with the Endoplasmic Reticulum in the development of insulin resistance.

François will work on the role of the Maf1 repressor in mouse liver as well as on the regulation of RNA polymerase III transcription during the circadian cycle, the nutrient response cycle, and the cell division cycle, as part of the CycliX project.
