Gabriel Moquet Torcy joined the group of Nouria Hernandez as a post-doctoral fellow, coming from the Institute of Molecular Genetics of Montpellier, where he performed his PhD with Prof. Marc Piechaczyk, working on transcriptional mechanisms governed by Fra-1 and Fra-2 in aggressive breast cancer.  In the Hernandez group, he will focus on the functional role of Maf1 in lipid and glucose storage by comparison of maf1 knock out (KO) and wild-type (WT) mice.
