Gabriela Aguileta obtained her PhD in computational and statistical analysis of molecular evolution, at University College London (UK), under the supervision of Professor Ziheng Yang. After her PhD studies, she became interested in evolutionary and functional genomics. Gabriela has joined the group of Professor Béatrice Desvergne to study the link of obesity, metabolic disorders and inflammation via metabolomics, epigenetics, and bioinformatics.
