Georgia graduated from the University of Crete, Greece with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and received her master degree in Fundamental Neurosciences from Maastricht University, the Netherlands. During her master thesis she worked at the academic hospital of Copenhagen investigating the role of epigenetic modifications in narcolepsy. After her studies, she joined UNIL for an internship in sleep research and now she is joining Prof Gatfield’s group as a PhD student.
