Hello, I am Jenisha Khadka. I did my bachelor’s in biotechnology from Purbanchal University (Nepal), during which I worked on “Isolation of plastic degrading bacteria and molecular mechanism behind plastic degradation”.
My bachelor’s study inspired me to work on molecular biology. I joined master’s in molecular Life Sciences at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, (Germany) where I carried out my master thesis and internship at Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin (Germany) in the lab of Prof. Dr. Michela Di Virgilio. There, I was working on the project “Optogenetic Reconstitution of Class Switch Recombination factors in primary B lymphocytes”.

I am now happy to join the Gambetta lab as PhD student.
