Welcome to Jérôme!

Hello, I am Jérôme Mermet, a new postdoc in the lab of Richard Benton.

I got my Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Toulouse in France where I studied epigenetic regulation of gene expression in breast cancer cells, in the lab of Kerstin Bystricky. I then moved to Switzerland and joined the lab of Félix Naef at EPFL where I studied dynamics of the 3-Dimensional organization of chromatin across the circadian cycle and its function for circadian-clock gene transcription in mouse tissues.

I have joined Richard’s lab in April 2019 to investigate molecular mechanisms modulating olfactory circuit architecture across development in drosophila.

Looking forward to meeting you all!
