Hello, my name is Lies Chikhaoui, I was born in Lyon (France) where I did all my studies. I have a molecular biology background and turned to bioinformatics during my PhD at the ENS of Lyon, where I studied circadian dynamics of co and post-transcriptonnal modifications including alternative splicing, polyadenylation and (a little bit of) epitranscriptomics, using long-read sequencing.

I’m now joining David Gatfield’s lab as a bioinformatician. On more personal aspects I love football so don’t hesitate to talk sports with me (or bioinforamtics of course).
