As a student of biomedical engineering (year 2012), Ruichen is currently studying at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. She was in the lab in July-August 2010 as part of the University of Lausanne Summer Undergraduate Research programme, during which she worked with Vincent Croset. She returned to the lab during Feb-Mar 2011 to work with Raphael Rytz.
