The IPP offers a wide range of research topics in the 72 participating groups located at the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB), Johannes Gutenberg University (JGU) and the University Medical Center Mainz (UMC) but not every group participating in the IPP offers a position in every call. Below you will find soon a list of group leaders offering a position in the IPP summer call 2022 and descriptions of the offered PhD projects. Be aware that projects may appear several times if they fit into different research topics.

If you are interested in applying to one or more of the projects below, fill out our registration form until 03 May 2022 (12:00 noon CEST).

The referees you list during your registration will receive a personalised link allowing them to upload their reference letter directly and confidentially. After registration, you will receive a link to the application form where you can indicate up to 5 projects that are of interest to you. The deadline for application submission is 10 May 2022 (12:00 noon CEST). When you are invited to our interview days, you have the opportunity to modify your group preferences based on your interaction with the group leaders.
