Your responsibilities

You will be required to:

• Be in charge of analysis of *-omics,  imaging and/or cytometry data to help researchers find leads and answers in their research.
• Implement, adapt, compare and use informatic tools for these analyses
• Use the clusters and IT infrastructures of UNIL and EPFL to perform the analyses
• Document and report your work and analyses with reproducibility in mind

Your qualifications

We are looking for a person with the following profile:

You have a doctorate in a scientific field (biology, medicine, physics, bioinformatics, computational biology, image analysis).

• Extensive experience in the analysis of *-omics and/or imaging data and understanding of the underlying biological phenomena
• Extensive experience in the use of computer tools and programming in the field of bioinformatics; excellent command of the use of UNIX and computing clusters.
• Creative in the search for solutions, rigorous, reliable, organized and ready to integrate our Center.
• Communicating easily in French and/or in English
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team member
