We are very proud to announce that the Young Researcher in Basic Sciences and Equality awards were rewarded to two brilliant CIG researchers: Martina Legris and Thomas Auer

Martina Legris received in June 2022 the “Young Researcher in Basic Sciences” Award for her work showing how the class of plant photoreceptors known as phototropins control leaf curvature depending on light direction.

Thomas Auer received the “Equality Award” in recognition of his significant contribution to enhancing a workplace culture of equality, diversity and inclusion
