The Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) in Würzburg, Germany is seeking to recruit several Young Investigators to run independent research groups at a new federal institute.
At this point, we are particularly interested in groups working on RNA-related processes or using RNA-seq based techniques in the context of bacterial and viral pathogens, the associated immune response, as well as RNA therapeutic strategies. Naturally, this would also involve basic research on aspects of RNA biology, for example, RNA structure profiling, RNA modifications, cellular RNA localization, or RNA-protein interactions.
