System specialist

Your mission :
Integrate into our team, implement and maintain computer software for the collection, organization, analysis and visualization of *-omics, imaging and/or other data from the fields of life sciences (biology, biomedical research, etc.), and participate to the analysis and visualization of these data in the framework of research projects.

Main duties and responsibilities include :

• Organize, analyze and visualize data; design, implement and/or deploy software; provide analysis results for research projects conducted at BIƆC
• Evaluate and compare means and methods to organize, analyze and visualize data handled at BIƆC

Your profile :

• Master degree in a scientific domain such as computer science, bioinformatics, biology, physics, mathematics, data-science
• Demonstrated capacity to plan, design, implement, deploy and document software projects using at least 1 compiled language and 1 interpreted/scripted language
• Excellent communication skills, in oral and written forms, in French and English
• Candidate CH or EU

Start date : As soon as possible
Term of employment : Fixed-term (CDD)
Work rate : 80 – 100%%
