Welcome to Francesco Carelli, who joined Henrik Kaessmann’s
group as a PhD student on September 1st, 2011. He studied at
the University of Bari (Italy) and obtained his Master’s
degree in December 2010 working in the group of Prof. Mario
Ventura on the characterization of a primate gene family
