Hi everyone,

My name is Gwen Swinnen and I recently joined the Soyk lab.

I moved here from Belgium where I studied plant biotechnology and obtained my PhD with Alain Goossens at the VIB-UGent.
My PhD research examined the jasmonate-related transcriptional control of tomato steroidal alkaloid metabolism and organ size. During the next few years, I will look for genetic interactions that influence tomato inflorescence development, and for the protein-protein and DNA-protein interactions responsible for these genetic interactions.
