Marta Bellone is the new LIMNA project coordinator, her office is on the 5th floor of the Genopode. She is biologist by training and graduated from the Univesity of Genova. She spent two years at Yale University (New Haven, CT, USA) as research associate before moving to Switzerland for her PhD on the microenvironment in which malignant blood cells develop at the University Hospital of Lausanne.
Since 2015 she has been involved in many projects of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the Univesity of Lausanne and since 2017 she also holds a position at the CUSO, as coordinator of the doctoral program in Ecology and Evolution.
