Simon Quenneville joined the Thorens’lab in July 2015. He did a master and a Ph.D. in molecular biology in Canada, where he worked on gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.  In 2006 he joined Didier Trono’s team in the EPFL, working on developmental epigenetics, notably imprinting and retroelement control.  He then joined Amalio Tenlenti’s group at the CHUV, and developed a single-cell RNA-seq pipeline to study CD4 T-cell heterogeneity.
