Prix de recherche Fondation Suisse du Diabète for Marion Cornu

Marion Cornu, former PhD student in B.Thorens’ lab, got the “Prix de recherche Fondation Suisse du Diabète” (Schweizerische Diabetes-Stiftung) for her work on: “Glucagon-like peptide-1 protects b-cells against apoptosis by increasing the activity of an Igf-2/Igf-1 receptor autocrine loop”.

She received this prize from the hands of the president of the foundation (Prof. G.A. Spinas) at the occasion of the general assembly of the Swiss Society of Endocrinology and Diabetology on November 20, 2009 in Bern.
