The successful candidate will apply the lab’s gene editing approach (Cinesi et al Nat comms 2016) in iPSCs and in vivo in the context of myotonic dystrophy. A big component will be to establish safety (i.e., off-target effects) using next generation sequencing and another will be to optimize delivery vectors and methods.
