Research partnerships with developing countries: new call for funding applications

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is again launching the programme Research Partnerships with Developing Countries. The programme is a joint initiative by SNSF and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It is open to all scientific disciplines and a multitude of countries. The submission deadline for projects is 18 January 2010.

The SNSF and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) are jointly inviting the submission of applications for Research Partnerships with Developing Countries. Research Partnerships are research projects that are designed and implemented by the joint effort of researchers from Switzerland and developing countries and focus on development related issues. With this programme, SNSF and SDC aim to support research projects of high quality that investigate the problems of disadvantaged countries, to promote the relationships of researchers in the North and South, and to strengthen the scientific capacities in the countries of the South.
