PhD student position in Bioinformatics and RNA at the CGR in Barcelona (ES) – deadline 15.10.2022

Are you looking for a PhD in a world-leading research group at the forefront of Genomics, RNA and Bioinformatics?

This PhD project aims to apply computational techniques to address fundamental questions around the non-protein-coding “Dark Matter” of the human genome. The project is fully funded and will be hosted at the prestigious Centre for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated passion for genomics and have either a numerical background (bioinformatics, maths, statistics, computer science), or be a biologist with strong bioinformatics experience.

The scholarship is available to start immediately. Interested candidates should send their CV and a brief cover letter explaining why they are interested in this opportunity, to Rory Johnson (rory.johnson@ucd.ie) as soon as possible and before 15th October with subject line “lncRNA.PhD”.
